Don your sparkliest red shoes and join some familiar faces to head down the yellow brick road this Easter at the New Theatre Royal in Lincoln.

Running from Wednesday, April 5th to Wednesday April 12th, the production of The Wizard of Oz promises high-energy dance routines, popular songs, boos, laughs and a witty script.

TV personality Sandi Bogle (Gogglebox and Celebrity Big Brother) will star as Glindora the Good Witch of the North and the Wicked Witch of the West will be performed by NTR panto regular Arran Wilson.

If you’re a regular at NTR’s pantos too then you’ll also recognise Dan Badrick who most recently starred as Dandini in Cinderella although he’ll be swapping the royal sash for some straw stuffing as he takes on the role of The Scarecrow.

Camilia O’Grady, who performed in NTR’s Beauty & the Beast in 2021, will be roaring back onto the stage as The Lion with Leah Appleyard as Dorothy and Charles M Duke as The Tin Man.

NTR’s Artistic Director Natalie Hayes-Cowley says “We can’t wait to take audiences to the land of Oz this Easter.  The story of The Wizard of Oz is universally loved, so it’s going to be great fun to bring it back to our stage.

“We have an incredibly strong cast, full of audience favourites and local children.  And although they say you should never work with animals, we love a challenge, so we will have several dogs playing the role of Toto… and I’m sure they’ll steal the show!
